Different People Reflect Different Worldviews

Early on in his college days, David Manosalvas-Kjono was introduced to diverse communities and worked with them.

His journey navigating through different groups is an asset that fostered great connections and placed opportunities on his path.

Diversity refers to the idea that different people reflect different worldviews. He believes when we all learn to read a variety of different authors, genres and styles, solve problems a different way, we open our minds to new perspectives and ways of seeing things.

As a LatinX individual, he himself has experienced a contrasted experience rather than the Northern American one. Being an entrepreneur with a vast engineering background, Manosalvas-Kjono made it a point to prioritize the value of his brand by surrounding himself with a diverse team.

“It unlocks different perspectives and experiences–going beyond race, gender, ethnicities, etc. We have to talk about how the other layers of diversity come into play” Manosalvas-Kjono believes. It should not be viewed as a burden or a box to be checked. Rather, embracing diversity adds cohesion and brings people together.

“Diversity…unlocks different perspectives and experiences.” D. Manosalvas-Kjono
