“You want to institutionalize something, show value-added,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz today in Chicago to announce a mentorship program at the southwest suburban lab for young entrepreneurs.
Moniz went on to tout politically embraceable benefits of Argonne’s work, including computing research “central to the cancer moon shot,” and drew laughter when he told the first five fellows in the Chain Reactions Innovations program, “You’re going to create fabulous export markets for the United States.”
