Director’s Letter

CRI Director Dick Co

Dear Friends of CRI,

Welcome to the Summer 2024 issue of the CRI newsletter. In it, you’ll see the breadth of our spring and summer activities.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to CRI’s newest cohort. Welcoming a new cohort is the culmination of months of work and we look forward to embedding this talented group at Argonne.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program’s (LEEP) issued a Request for Information (RFI) to consider approaches to coordination and/or centralization of some of the program’s core operations. Please take some time to read and respond.

If you know someone who may be interested in CRI’s two-year fellowship, applications for our newest cohort will open on September 4th and close at 5 p.m. CT on November 8th. CRI will host three webinars as well as Friday virtual office hours during the application period. Visit our Apply web page for details.

You’ll also see that CRI celebrated its recent Chicago Innovation Award by ringing the Nasdaq bell along with all 2023 winners, as well as  our celebration of CRI’s cohort 6 at the LEEP Demo Day at NREL in May.

We are excited about the future of our startups and our program. Thank you for partnering with us on this journey.

Regards,

Dick Co
